WW2 - Headgear
A blue flat hat in size 6 7/8 with the storage box it was issued in. From the Philadelphia Uniform Co., the stiff cardboard box is marked to be used for storing the hat in bag or locker. Even has the sailor's name on the box, "C.H.Montgomery" Just one or two very small moth nips on the hat that really don't take from the overall appearance.
This is a neat looking cap as it has a black chinstrap and visor and is marked on the inside, "On To Victory - Feldman Cap Co." It is a size 6 7/8 and it looks like it was never worn. There is one small moth hole on the top of the cap, but I don't think it takes anything away from the overall appearance.
