Have two of these Battle Rattles in different sizes and obviously made by the same manufacturer. The small one is 5 3/4: by 6" by 3/4" thick and has 3 screws holding the metal plate. The larger one is 7" by 8" by 1" thick and has 5 screws hold the metal plate. Both are in working condition and great looking pieces. They are sold at $150 each, or take the pair for $285.

Fantastic looking copper spittoon with a white enamel bowl inside to catch the spit. It measures 8 inches in diameter and stands 3 3/4 inches high. The top lifts off and the enamel bowl can be removed for cleaning. Super looking piece.

I believe this iron bit to be a M1859 Artillery Horse bit. Has brass US emblems and looks to be complete. Great shape.
