Just a super grouping from the USS Savannah, a Wichita Class Replenishment Oiler that saw service in Vietnam in the Tonkin Gulf. The grouping consists of the Christening Bottle which is housed in a presentation wood box, a large presentation photo album to Vice Admiral Ralph L. Shirley and his wife, as she was the sponsor of the ship and the one who christened the ship. The album documents the christening along with the dinner afterwards. The Admiral was presented with a piece of wood from the keel block at the dinner. This took place on 23 April, 1970 at "General Dynamics" in Quincy, Mass. The christening bottle is in a presentation wood box, measuring approx. 13 1/2" long by 4 5/8" square. Pieces of the broken bottle are still inside the metal sleeve, with other small pieces inside the wood box. The metal sleeve is non-magnetic and is engrave with the event. There is a large picture of the ship and copies of newspaper articles that go along with the grouping. A great looking set.

In excellent condition with five boxed medical items inside. All for one money.

A near mint pair of Spike protection boots made March 1967 and a size 12W. These boots look never issued and still have the original Instruction Tag on the boot laces.

A beautiful example of the Air Force Cross medal, instituted in 1960 for Extraordinary Heroism in action against the enemy. Marked "H.L.R." on the edge of the left arm.

Great looking VN woman doll which stands approx. 16 inches in height. Sold all over for the returning GI's to give to their sweethearts, mothers and daughters. Excellent condition.

In near mint condition, dated 1974, has instruction sheet and extra amber lens. The box is excellent except for a few marks from storage.

Lashing rope for use with the plywood packboard. This is the nylon as used from Korea to Vietnam.

Have a number of FULL cigarette packs from the VN and Post VN era. They are sold at $12 each, or take three for $30. When they are gone, they are gone. Have 19 packs and an empty Velvet Tobacco tin, take all 20 for $175.

Have seven cans of Aerosol Insecticide, Synergized Pyrethrin, Type II which all seem to be filled. They are sold at $15 each, or take all seven for $95 and I'll also include a full can without the spray unit.

Have two cans of Emergency / Survival Water. One can is very nice, the other has dents, but still has the water in it. Both for one money.

What looks to be a complete meal kit, with the cracker/candy tin dated "1 71". has the plastic spoon and the accessory pack with cigarettes. All unopened and in excellent condition.

Have one kit that is dated 5 67 and IT IS unopened. I have two other kits from after the war, one is dated 6/76, both of those are $45 each, or take both for $80. These kits have never been opened and still have their opening keys.

Only have the one on the right available, as the one on the left has been sold.

A full tube despencer of anti-chap, looks to be dated 1974 and by the "Gaby Company".

In near mint condition, a custom made Nurses Dress by "Hospital Clo Co. Philadelphia, Pa." The Nurse was stationed in Japan at a military hospital from 1968 to 1970.

Have a number of these sewing kits with contents. They would have been issued, or bought from Post WW2 through Vietnam. They are sold at $15 each, your choice or I would sell all eight of them for $100.

In used condition, dated Mar 1974, a Utility Type LPP-1A Inflatable Life Preserver with survival light, whistle and sea dye marker. This would look great on a static display model.

These are NIB, marked and dated 1971, Nylon and Wool bunting. Measure 1' 6" by 2' 3" and are used for marking stations and vehicles. Made by "Yale Necktie Co., New Haven, Conn." I have only four of these, all in the same mint condition. They are sold at $25 each, or take all four for $90.

In near mint condition, a working US marked plastic whistle, dated 1971 by "G.P.I.".

Have a number of these trip wire wood spools in near mint condition. They are $6 each, or take three for $15.

I have two of these M1 Garand bayonets. These were sent to the South Korean Army for their surplus M1 rifles supplied after the Korean War. They were cut down to 6 1/4" blades and issued to the ROK Army soldiers in the early 1960's. I have one still in the plastic bag with original tape and cardboard blade protector as issued to ROK troops and another by itself. Both are in excellent condition and have numbers on one side of the cross guard. The one with the issue bag is $50, the other one is $40, or take both for $80.

NVA canvas sling for AK and SKS rifle in near mint condition.

Two sets of dog tags to Raymond F. Craley, Jr. of Dover, Pa. who served in the USMC during the Cuban Missile Crisis. One set of tags lists him as "no preference", while the other set of tags lists him as "Jewish".

No spec. or size tag, looks to be around medium size, 1st Sgt. 194th Arm. Bde. with A/B tab and US Army Training Activities patches. Great shape.

These were cut down in Korea during the 1960's to fit the M8 scabbards. Approx. 6 1/2" blade, unmarked and re-parkerized when cut down in Korea.

Nice example of a baseball grenade, with an M228 Fuze, complete. The grenade is empty, with a hole on the bottom.

I have three of these M-1961 magazine pouches for the M-14 rifle, favored by the USMC, one dated 67 and the other two 74. All are in excellent condition. They are sold at $35 each, or take all three for $95.

These two cards for Chemical, Biological or Nuclear Attack are dated 1956 & 57 and are the type carried during the VN War. Both cards for one money. Excellent condition, just folded to fit into a wallet.

The Seacadets were established in 1958, with the first unit formed in 1959. This organization was to expose 11 to 17 year olds to the prestige of public service and for entry into the USN if that is the branch they would choose. Great looking patch.

A neat pre-war 1957 dated Survival Field Manual. The front cover has a crease and the back part of the book has some water stains....maybe some of that Vietnam weather?

Nice six pocket bandoleer for the M1 Garand as carried in Vietnam or by National Guard Troops during the period, before they goy their M-14's or M-16's. The front reads: "Cal/30Ball M2 - 8RD Clips - LC 42503" and the reverse has: "K.P.I.-7/67". In excellent condition.

A real nice 1975 dated Ames folding shovel with nylon carrying case.

Here are two boxes of Surgical Preparation Razor Blades that are dated 1971 and 1973. Great condition.

This survival mirror is mint with it's box. It looks to be dated 1976.

This compass is from a SRU-16/P Minimum Survival Kit that was introduced in 1962 and was considered a "onetime use item". These kits were located in a small pocket attached to a torso harness or inside a parachute pack. These are tough to find anymore as they are small and easily lost.
