USS Ozark - Belt Buckle

Neat buckle for the USS Ozark (MCS-2). It was recommissioned in 1966 and became the flagship for the commander of Mine Forces, Atlantic Fleet. Measures approx. 3' by 1 3/8" and is in great condition.

1969 Dated British Stereoscopic Telescope

Super looking British Brass Stereoscopic Telescope No. 1B Mk 1 and dated 1969. It is mounted on a wood base and can be taken off very easily. It stands approx. 16 inches high and weigh's approx. 11.2 pounds. The optics are clear and in working condition. Great looking piece.

VN "KA-BAR" USMC Fighting Knife

A great looking fighting knife that was there. Leather scabbard with the word, "DEATH" carved into the obverse side and just a great weathered color and look to it. The blade was sharpened for combat and is also in great shape. Nice looking piece from Vietnam War.

1971 Medic / Red Cross Flag - NIB

These are NIB, marked and dated 1971, Nylon and Wool bunting. Measure 1' 6" by 2' 3" and are used for marking stations and vehicles. Made by "Yale Necktie Co., New Haven, Conn." I have only four of these, all in the same mint condition. They are sold at $25 each, or take all four for $90.

M1 Bayonet - Korean Army M1 Rifle

I have two of these M1 Garand bayonets. These were sent to the South Korean Army for their surplus M1 rifles supplied after the Korean War. They were cut down to 6 1/4" blades and issued to the ROK Army soldiers in the early 1960's. I have one still in the plastic bag with original tape and cardboard blade protector as issued to ROK troops and another by itself. Both are in excellent condition and have numbers on one side of the cross guard. The one with the issue bag is $50, the other one is $40, or take both for $80.

U.S.Naval Seacadet Corp. Patch - Bullion

The Seacadets were established in 1958, with the first unit formed in 1959. This organization was to expose 11 to 17 year olds to the prestige of public service and for entry into the USN if that is the branch they would choose. Great looking patch.




1957 Survival Book

A neat pre-war 1957 dated Survival Field Manual. The front cover has a crease and the back part of the book has some water stains....maybe some of that Vietnam weather?




Christening Bottle - USS Savannah AOR-4

A super grouping of christening material for the USS Savannah (AOR-4) that saw service in the Vietnam War. Included in this grouping are; the actual bottle that was broke over the bow of the ship with its metal casing and presentation box, a presentation piece of wood from #1 Keel Block, a fantastic presentation photo album of 26 color photos to Vice Admiral Ralph L. Shifley and his wife, who was the Sponsor that broke the bottle on the Savannah. There are two nice photo's of Mrs Shifley breaking the bottle and one of the piece of wood kiel being presented to the Admiral. Vice Admiral Shifley was a 1933 graduate of USN Academy and became a Naval Aviator in 1937. He commanded Bombing Group 8 off the USS Bunker Hill during WW2 and was awarded the Navy Cross. The USS Savannah (AOR-4) was a Fleet Replenishment Oiler and saw service in Vietnam from May 1970 to October of the same year. She supplied the fleet off the Vietnam coast and made six swings into the Gulf of Tonkin. The USS Savannah was awarded one Battle Star and a Meritorious Unit Commendation for service in Vietnam. She was taken out of service in 1995.




M1 Garand Ammo Bandoleer Dated 1967

Nice six pocket bandoleer for the M1 Garand as carried in Vietnam or by National Guard Troops during the period, before they goy their M-14's or M-16's. The front reads: "Cal/30Ball M2 - 8RD Clips - LC 42503" and the reverse has: "K.P.I.-7/67". In excellent condition.

Survival Compass - SRU-16/P Kit

This compass is from a SRU-16/P Minimum Survival Kit that was introduced in 1962 and was considered a "onetime use item". These kits were located in a small pocket attached to a torso harness or inside a parachute pack. These are tough to find anymore as they are small and easily lost.
