Just a great looking outfit in blue & tan wool and the jacket looks reversable. All measurements are approx. Jacket overall is 23 1/2 inches, shoulder to cuff 22 1/2 inches and armpit to armpit is 18 inches. The trousers have a 28 inch waist, inseam is 23 1/2 inches and the overall length is 39 inches. Aside from wear, this outfit is in excellent condition and very much wearable.
A super looking example of a Japanese Chest protector, made of leather and bamboo, to protect the chest from strikes while practicing Japanese Sword fighting (Kendo) to hones one's skill with a sword. It measures 14 inches high and is 11 inches in diameter. It has flexibility to open up in the back to swallow the man's chest and is tied with braided ropes to secure it in place. There are Japanese characters on the front and also inside. Believe this to be from around 1910 to 1930's.
Fantastic looking WW2 Officer's Pink Overcoat, made by, "Season Skipper". The measurements are approx. armpit to armpit 21 inches, shoulder to cuff 25 1/2 inches and collar to bottom 49 inches. I found two very small moth bites on the reverse side, but they do not affect the overall look. The lining has a tear by the left armpit, but does not affect the look or wearing ability. There is a belt present, but it does not have a buckle. Just a super looking coat.
Have two 1945 dated 3-Pocket Grenade Carriers in mint condition. One is made by "Kaypey Manufacturing Co., New York, NY" and the other is by "Meyers and Son Manufacturing Company, Madison, Indiana". These were also used as Medical carriers by some GI's and both are in mint condition. They are $65 each, or buy both for $120.
I have 11 tubes of Orange wax for climbing, or wet snow and 8 tubes of Blue wax for dry, or powder snow. There are several different looking tubes that are made by "F.H. Wiessner" and also have 3 tubes of Blue by "Chemurgic Corporation, Richmond, Calif." with 1 Orange tube by "American Grease Stick, Co., Muskegon, Michigan". They are sold at $12 each, or two for $20.
Nice looking leather flight helmet that looks similar to a SHL-81 leather helmet. Has a label on the inside, but I can't quite make out the maker. If may be a German helmet that was modified for the Soviets after WW2, just don't know for sure. Has it's avionics with connecting cords. In used, but near excellent condition.
A beautiful tour jacket, Korean made, for a member of the USAF that had served at the Kunsan Air Base in Kunsan, Korea. It is in excellent condition, has the maker's label inside, "VenusMarket, Custommaker, Younghwadongkunsan, Korea Tel.5794" I believe the jacket is either a small, or possibly medium in size. Just a great looking jacket. See the pictures.
